MAD COW DISEASE PATIENT IN STABLE CONDITION

A woman infected by the Mad Cow Disease is in stable conditions as confirmed by health authorities in Livorno. There is no danger of contagion. The first symptoms appeared in September 2008 but she was only diagnosed in October 2009 in Milan. The woman was looked after at home but last week her overall conditions requires more complex treatment which resulted in hospitalisation.
