REGGIO CALABRIA DIA SEIZES ESTATE FOR 15 MLN EUROS

The DIA has seized almost 15 million euros worth of estate belonging to the boss Domenico Rugolo. The seizure, ordered by the Reggio Tribunal ‘Preventive Measure Section, includes a construction firm, nine hectares of land, with a villa, an olive grove and an orange grove, two rural buildings and several bank accounts owned by the boss. Rugolo, age 75, residing in Oppido Mamertina and now confined to house arrest, is the alleged capo of a criminal racket operating around and in Castellace di Oppido Mamertina, the heir of the historic “Mammoliti-Rugolo” band.
