SERIE A’S ATALANTA CONDEMNS FANS’ RIOTING

Atalanta BC have issued official criticism of hard-core fans’ rioting yesterday. Fans engaged in rioting in response to the Italian football league’s plans to enforce mandatory ID for persons accessing stadia. The club’s management issued a statement in which it “condemns all forms of violence” which “have nothing to do with football.”
