Ban Ki-moon will arrive in Pakistan to visit the areas most affected by floods. The United Nations have made an appeal for a 460 million dollar fund for the reconstruction of the country. $175 million have already been allocated. Long term however, billions will be needed to rebuild infrastructures. About two million people have lost their homes and six million are dependent on humanitarian aid to survive. .
