CARS: USA, PARTIAL ACQUITTAL FOR TOYOTA

The drivers were at fault in 60% of the US accidents attributed to a braking defect of Toyota cars. According to the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration 35 out of 58 accidents linked to an involuntary vehicle acceleration have been caused by the drivers’ poor skills. Many seem to have confused the gas and brake pedals. The governmental agency does not fully exonerate Toyota.
