CHINA: RACE AGAINST THE CLOCK TO RECOVER NOXIOUS BARRELS
China is racing against the clock in its bid to recover barrels of noxious chemicals, which fell into a river. The barrels were washed into the Songhua river, which, according to local authorities, currently remains uncontaminated. The Songhua, the longest river in northeast China, is 1,900 kilometers long and supplies water to some 4.3 million people. .
