CLINTON ANNOUNCES NEW SANCTIONS AGAINST NORTH KOREA
While on a mission to South Korea, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton announced new sanctions against Pyongyang. Clinton added that Washington, however, is ready to resume international negotiations on the North Korean nuclear programme, on condition that “positive signals” should come from Pyongyang. Secretary Clinton is currently in South Korea in the demilitarized zone that has separated the two Koreas since the end of the 1950-53 war. .
