DEEPWATER HORIZON SURVIVOR REVEALS ALARMS ‘SWITCHED OFF’

A former Deepwater Horizon worker says gas leak and fire alarms were switched off months before the accident. The survivor of the April 20th accident which killed 11, also submitted that the decision was taken by the platform’s chief engineers, bothered at the idea that “someone might be woken up by a false alarm at 3 a.m.” .
