The French Government has given ‘green light’ to the police questioning Eric Woerth. A request was put forth to interrogate the Minister of Labor, former treasurer of the UMP, within the framework of the Bettencourt affair. Woerth is involved in the scandal relative to the alleged illegal funding by Liliane Bettencourt, the heiress of l’Oreal considered to be the richest woman in France, of the election campaign of French President Nicolas Sarkozy .
