HEALTH: SCIENTISTS WARN OF HOSPITAL SUPER-BUGS
Superbugs resistent to even the strongest antibiotics are spreading in UK hospitals. The alarm was raised by The Lancet Infectious Diseases scientific journal and reported in the British media. The bugs spread among people who had travelled to countries such as India and Pakistan for cosmetic surgery. Cases of the bugs being passed from person to person in British hospitals have already been picked up. Reports of infection have also come from Canada, USA, Australia and Holland.
