HEATWAVE:DISASTER RELIEF AGENCY TO ISSUE ALERT FOR 20 CITIES

Sweltering weather is hitting Italy and 17 cities tomorrow and 3 more the day after will be issued a heatwave alert. According to the Disaster Relief Agency’s heat detection system, the heatwaves will near 40C, triggering a max heatwave alert (Level 3 red alert) in the towns of Bolzano, Bologna, Brescia, Florence, Perugia, Rome and Turin. Campobasso, Civitavecchia, Frosinone, Latina, Milan, Rieti, Trieste, Venice and Viterbo will be issued a level 2 alert (orange alert). The day after tomorrow Bolzano, Bologna, Brescia, Firenze, Genoa, Milan, Perugia,Rome, Turin, Trieste and Venice will be issued a Red alert while Campobasso, Civitavecchia, Frosinone, Latina, Messina, Pescara, Rieti, Verona and Viterbo will be issued an orange alert.
