HELLMUND SAYS FORMULA 1 CAN RACE IN AUSTIN FOR 40 YEARS

The track in Austin is so well-suited to Formula 1 that it could remain in the calendar for the next 40 years. This opinion was expressed by Tavo Hellmund, director of the programme for the United States Grand Prix, in an interview with Formula 1’s official website. “Austin has developed enormously in the past 15 years and there is no better place to hold the American GP. Texas is the eleventh power in the world economy”, added Hellmund.
