IMF-EU: GREECE STILL NEEDS TO PUSH DEBT AUSTERITY PLAN

Greece still has to face ‘key challenges’ over its debt despite the “considerable progress’ made. In their quarterly report IMF-EU inspectors comment that Athens will have to implement a tough austerity plan if it is to receive the second tranche of aid from the 110 billion euro programme. European Commission representative, Servaas Deroose, commented: “Despite the considerable progress made in many areas key challenges remain”.
