INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC CENTRE TO OPEN IN NORTH SENEGAL

Within 18 months, an international scientific laboratory will open in north-west Senegal, in the Louga province. The centre will be involved in research in the fields of the environment, botany and health. The laboratory will also study the effect on the environment and on people’s health of the “Great Green Wall”, the gigantic anti-desertification project that will cross the continent from Senegal to Gibuti.
