MALAWI MODIFIES NATIONAL FLAG AS SYMBOLIC OF DEVELOPMENT
Malawi’s President Mutharika has inaugurated the country’s new flag that has a larger sun in the center. In an interview at the ceremony when the new flag was presented, Mutharika explained that the modified sun symbolizes the path towards development that characterizes the current phase in the life of the nation.
