OIL: GAZPROM TO DRILL NEW WELLS IN IRAQ IN 2011
Gazprom Neft is to drill 3 or 4 new wells in the Iranian Badrah gas field next year. The aim is to achieve 15 thousand barrels per day by the final quarter of 2013. The company is also in the final stages of talks with Iran on developing the Azar field, which forms part of Badrah but lies just outside the Iranian border. The announcement was made by Gazprom Neft’s Middle East Project Director, Alexander V. Kolomatsky.
