ON LINE FRAUDS: CC VS. HACKERS’ BAND, 19 ARRESTED

19 people arrested in Rome for credit card counterfeiting and Internet frauds. The Carabinieri Investigative Unit has dismantled a big organization, managed by a Calabrese felon, a former Police informer, who established a colossal business thanks to his alliance with Russian hackers. While the Russians were specialized in stealing computer data by hacking the servers of large financial institutions, their boss managed a florid clandestine market selling the stolen credit card and checking account information to criminal organizations all over the world.
