PAKISTAN: U.N. REQUESTS 460 MLN DOLLARS FOR EMERGENCY
The UN launches an appeal: 460 million Dollars are needed to help Pakistan overcome the flood emergency. The funds, U.N. head of humanitarian aid John Holmes explained, are needed for food, clean water and medicines. He also anticipated that a new appeal will be launched in approximately a month’s time. .
