ROME MAYOR ALEMANNO WANTS TAX ON DEMONSTRATIONS

Rome mayor Gianni Alemanno is considering introducing a tax on demonstrations. “We’re working on an ad hoc resolution providing for the introduction of a service tax during major national demonstrations ” Alemanno said. “I think it is just fair that a tax on services be paid to hold major national demonstrations held in Rome” he added explaining that the citizens of Rome can’t always be left to foot the bill.
