RUSSIA: MOSCOW HOSPITALS BANNED FROM HEATSTROKE DIAGNOSIS
A doctor has told the Russian press that it is forbidden to diagnose ‘heatstroke’ as a cause of death in Moscow. The order was apparently issued to Moscow doctors in an attempt to rejig the statistics on people who have died as a result of the heatwave that struck the country. A photograph shows a notice that has been put up in a Moscow hospital saying: “Watch out! No diagnoses of heatstroke”.
