TERRORISM: FALSE ALARM IN LONDON NEAR WESTMINSTER
Police blocked the roads and square near Parliament today following a false alarm over a terrorist attack. The alert was triggered when authorities were informed of a parked vehicle containing what turned out to be an innocuous, though at first suspicious, package. The area was re-opened immediately afterwards and traffic resumed its usual flow.
