TOURISM: ITALY OVERTAKEN BY TURKEY IN GERMAN PREFERENCES

A new blow to Italian tourism as it is overtaken by Turkey in Germany’s preferences. The daily “Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung” (Faz) reported that “by the end of 2010 the nation on the Bosphorus should replace Italy’s second place on the list of vacation destinations most loved by Germans”. The “Faz” writes that at this pace, “in the medium term Turkey could even compete for first place with Spain”.
