USA: NYC SUPERMARKETS, POSTED PRICES ARE OFTEN WRONG

In over 350 supermarkets in NYC the goods are wrongly priced. According to the NY Times, the inspectors of Consumers’ Affairs found both in the Bronx and in other richer areas of the Upper West Side the following common violations: lack of price labels, cash register errors and taxes applied to non-taxable items. The violators risk over 380.000 dollars in fines.
