USA: TV DOCUMENTARY BY SPIKE LEE ON 5 YRS AFTER KATRINA
Spike Lee return on TV with a new documentary on the hurricane Katrina, five years later. On 23 and 24 August HBO will air “If God is Willing and Da Creek Don’t Rise”. It narrates the attempts made by NO inhabitants to rebuild their lives. In 2006 Lee directed the movie “When the Levees Broke: A Requiem in Four Acts”. “We would like to continue that tale, a part of US history,” the director said.
