WAR BETWEEN BARBIE-BRATZ, MGA ACCUSES MATTEL OF ESPIONAGE

MGA Entertainment Inc has accused Mattel of espionage. The company that produces Bratz, Barbie’s fiercest rival, has deposited a claim against Mattel in Federal Court, maintaining that a number of company employees presenting false credentials came to their laboratories to photograph new toys. According to MGA, this program of espionage went on for at least 15 years and Mattel is alleged to have stolen secret details on another 50 products.
