WORLD: PENTHOUSE TO BID FOR PLAYBOY
FriendFinder Networks, the owner of Penthouse, has employed an advisor to make a bid for Playboy. The bid would compete with Hugh Hefner’s announced intention to buy shares in the magazine that he still does not currently own. Hefner had offered $5.50 per share payable in cash.
