In one year from Michael Jackson’s death, 35 million albums have been sold across the world. No other singer before him has ever been as successful after his death, says Billboard magazine, on the day of the first memorial for the King of Pop. In the United States only, 9 million albums have been sold in 12 months. Songs downloaded from the Internet amoount to 12.9 million.
