AFGHAN PRESIDENT EXPECTS “IRREGULARITIES” IN ELECTIONS
President Hamid Karzai has admitted “irregularities” are inevitable in the upcoming elections. “We have to expect there will be irregularities and there will be accusations,” he recognized in a note from the presidential palace. A year ago the elections that returned Karzai to power were overshadowed by suspicion of grave irregularities.
