ARCHBISHOP TUTU PROMISED FIFA “PASS TO HEAVEN”

Archbishop Tutu promised Fifa officials “a pass to heaven” if they granted South Africa the World Cup host bid. Speaking at the CNN Global Fourm in Cape Town, the head of the 2010 World Cup organising committee, Danny Jordaan, said that when “we had our first meeting with the Fifa executive and Archbishop Tutu said: if you vote for us, I will make sure that you get a first-class ticket to heaven”.
