Bologna Massacre: Napolitano, magistrates and the institutions are doing their utmost to fill gaps and ambiguities. In his message to Paolo Bolognesi, Chairman of the Association, who was among those who lost loved ones in the Bologna station bombing, the Head of State said that “Thirty years have passed since the terrible events of 2nd August 1980, which tore Bologna central station apart, killing eighty five people and injuring two hundred others. My heartfelt thoughts are with them and their families”.
