CHINA: OVER 700 DEAD AND 1000 MISSING DUE TO FLOODS

A new victims count has come in for the floods in China: 702 dead and 1,042 missing. The landslide occurred during the night between Saturday and Sunday in the autonomous prefecture of Gannan, in Tibet. Meanwhile, Chinese engineers have worked tirelessly to drain a lake created by the mudslides and have lowered the water levels thanks to controlled explosions.
