E-AFRICAN COUNTRIES LAUNCH JOINT CONSERVATION INITIATIVE
East African countries spearheaded by Kenya are to establish specialised forestry units tasked with conservation. Speaking at the initiative’s launch, Kenya’s forestry and wildlife minister Noah Wekesa explained that the initiative is designed to aid conservation and scientific monitoring efforts.
