FAMILY SAVINGS IN ITALY MOST EXPOSED TO RISK

Consob reports that Italian family savings are most exposed to risky products than the rest of Europe. According to the Consob (the Italian Securities and Exchange Commission) Report for 2009, released today, at the end of last year Italian retail savers held over 180 billion euro of structured products, while savers in France, Spain, Belgium and the UK held under half that figure.
