German singer Nadja Benaissa infected at least one partner with HIV, but she will not face jail. The singer from ‘No Angels’ band is now confident that the judge will not sentence her to jail tomorrow at trial in Darmstadt. Prosecutor Peter Liesenfeld asked for the singer to face a sentence of maximum two years in prison and 300 hours in community services, preferably in a centre for HIV-positive people. The German law provides for that probation is automatically granted when a sentence is shorter than two years in prison
