KENYA: PRE-PAID CARD FOR DRINKING WATER
People in a suburban area of Kisumu, the third largest city in Kenya, will buy their drinking water with a pre-paid card. The managing director of the water company explained that the card “will ensure that users pay for the actual amount of water they use while heightening their awareness of the real cost of such a precious commodity.” .
