Naomi Campbell will be summoned to testify at the trial of former Liberian president Charles Taylor. The Special Court for Sierra Leone, sitting in The Hague, where Taylor is on trial for alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity, has already ordered the prosecution to prepare the subpoena. The supermodel will be asked whether or not Taylor gave her a huge uncut diamond (one of the infamous “blood diamonds” allegedly used by the former president to fuel insurgency in Sierra Leone).
