NAPOLITANO, ITALY UNITY OR LOST IN GLOBALISATION
Without national cohesion, Italy would be lost in the flood of globalisation, Giorgio Napolitano has warned. At a meeting with city officials in Udine, Mr Napolitano stressed that on this point, the Constitution specifically recognises the regions, endorses national unity and promotes autonomies. These are principles that make up “a path for us to follow together”, absolutely “inextricably”.
