According to ENI there is no truth in news of an alleged partnership with the company Black Gold. “As far as the Marine XII concession in the Congo is concerned”, reads a statement, “ENI recently sold 25% to New Age. This share originally belonged to the Republic of Congo/Brazzaville. This transaction was hence finalized fully respecting contractual agreements signed with this country. There is no agreement nor are there negotiations between ENI and Black Gold”.
