Violent clashes between police and demonstrators at the anti-gay pride rally in Belgrade: several people arrested. About 1000 people gathered in the Serbian capital to rally against the gay pride. Anti-gay hooligan groups tried to break through the police cordon protecting the gay activists’ parade, the first one to be held here since 2001.
