Los Angeles – L.A. Lakers have beaten Boston Celtics 83-79 in the 7th NBA match, to win the ring for the 16th time. Lakers showed their true mettle in the final part of the match, having been the underdogs during the first three quarters. Outstanding performances from both Kobe Bryant (23 points) and Pau Gasol (19). This is the eleventh (record) NBA championship victory for Lakers’ coach Phil Jackson.
