The Arab League has agreed to direct talks between Israel and Palestine but the final decision is up to Abu Mazen. The news came after a meeting in Cairo with the President of the Palestinian National Authority.
Abu Mazen, said Qatar’s Foreign Minister, is free to decide when to sit at the negotiating table.
