Selfie vietato a messa: “La comunione non è uno spettacolo”

ROMA – “Non selfarti”: se i dieci comandamenti fossero stati scritti sui tablet invece che sulle tavole, la legge di Mosè avrebbe imposto un divieto di questo tipo. Ma più che un divieto, è un anatema quello lanciato dal cardinale Robert Sarah, prefetto della Congregazione per il culto divino e la disciplina dei sacramenti, che ha detto basta ad ogni forma di spettacolarizzazione della messa.
Rito che Sarah (e la liturgia cattolica da duemila anni, per la verità) intende come un momento di “relazione intima con Dio”. Bando, quindi, agli autoscatti-con-smartphone-comunemente-detti-selfie, che risultano più appropriati in occasioni più laiche come i concerti, le partite, le cene con gli amici.
“Sono rimasto colpito dalla figuraccia di diversi sacerdoti che, a Filadelfia durante la comunione, si dilettavano a fare foto. Una pratica proibita, la messa non è uno spettacolo“.
“È necessario recuperare la bellezza liturgica – ha ammonito ancora Sarah. Nel tempo invece si è assistito alla distruzione della bellezza liturgica. La messa non dovrebbe essere un semplice intrattenimento dei fedeli ma partecipazione e relazione intima con Dio”.

CORVALLIS, Ore. - Within several days, a 17-minute pornographic video that police say was filmed in the Valley Library at Oregon State University had 262,000 online views. On Tuesday, Oregon State Police arrested a former OSU student who they say filmed the video of herself in public, and cited her with a charge of public indecency. Oregon State Police, part of the Department of Public Safety on campus, cited and released 19-year-old Kendra Sunderland, a former OSU student for her behavior in the Valley Library. The University says Sunderland did not enroll for classes this term.
