AFGHANISTAN: TALIBAN REJECT KARZAI PEACE COUNCIL

The Taliban dubbed the peace council proposed by Karzai a “puppet show” and rejected the invitation to dialogue. Taliban spokesman, Zabiullah Mujahid, added: “The creation of the peace council is yet another government puppet show. How can people who don’t believe in peace bring peace. We won’t negotiate until the invaders withdraw from our country”.
