According to Fedele Confalonieri, early elections would be traumatic but Berlusconi is bound to win them. “He would surely win”, Confalonieri said, “but we hope earl election are avoided since they are always a trauma.” He added: “we need to know what kind of a win situation it would be though, and if he wins with a broad majority” .
