USA: UTAH PRISONER IS EXECUTED BY FIRING SQUAD
Salt Lake – Ronnie Lee Gardner, age 49, has been execute by firing squad in Utah. He is the first American in 14 years who has chosen that type of execution instead of a lethal injection. In the very last hours numerous attempts were made to have Gardner’s sentence commuted to life in prison, but the authorities denied all requests.
