ARTIFICIAL BLOOD TO HELP WOUNDED SOLDIERS ON THE WAY
Artificial blood that will work as well as human blood may soon be available. The breakthrough was announced by Arteriocyte, a company in Ohio, which has produced the first samples in its laboratories. The project has been financed by the Pentagon, with transfusions for soldiers in war zones in mind.
