IRAN:LARIJANI TO THE US, AFGHANISTAN WILL BE A NEW VIETNAM

Afghanistan “will become the new Vietnam,” said Iranian Parliament President, Ali Larijani. He added “Americans will be as successful as in Vietnam. The Soviet Union made exactly the same mistake: many people killed and then tehy withdrew.” The Iranian Parliament Speaker said “History repeats itself. We know Afghanistan and we know it will never be subdued by foreign armies.” .
