The next CSM meeting will once again examine the phone tap bill, discussing the opinion of the Sixth Commission. The president of Italy has not yet approved the discussion in plenum of the opinion, once again critical, and initially included as an additional agenda item for this morning’s meeting. Vice president of the CSM (the Higher Judicial Council), Nicola Mancino commented that, “The status of the law before the House Justice Commission leads us to give this opinion only at the point when the bill passes from the Chamber of Deputies to the Senate.”
