VOLLEYBALL: WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP, ITALY TRAINS FROM TOMORROW

Italy’s national team gathers tomorrow to prepare for the World Volleyball Championship, held in Italy from 25/10. To commence training for the FIVB World Championship, which will be played in 10 of Italy’s cities, coach Andrea Anastasi has summoned sixteen players: setters Vermiglio, Travica and Baranowicz; opposite hitters Fei and Lasko; receivers Cernic, Parodi, Savani, Maruotti and Zaytsev; middles Mastrangelo, Birarelli, Sala and Buti; liberos Marra and Bari.
