ANTONIO DI PIETRO DENIES ILLEGAL ELECTION EXPENSES

Antonio di Pietro emphasised that “everything is in order” as regards IDV election expenses. He was speaking in response to the launch of an investigation by Rome prosecutors.

The leader of the IDV added: “It is the same shabby time-worn story: a case that a number of prosecutor’s offices have already filed away and over which the Rome prosecutor’s office was unable not to take action this time too, following the usual declaration.”

Di Pietro concluded: “We’ll just have to be patient. There are people who simply don’t accept their political defeat and continue to sling mud at others” .
